Homework for this weekend!

Check out all the links on this blog related to Gee's Bend, Biggers and Anatsui.

Do a spread (two facing pages) based on your research on the three styles of quilts.

Do a second spread using found materials. Create a collage/quilt on that spread that is an abstract form of a map, story, legend, place, etc.

Look at quilts that have a narrative or implied narrative. This is practice for abstracting concrete themes.
